"Actually, I don't have a question about
this painting--I'm the proud owner of "Untitled #4", and I wanted to
tell you a story! You may remember that, although I'm from Georgia, you
had shipped the painting up to my grandmother's house in NC. Well, after
viewing (and loving!) it, I decided to leave it at my grandmother's house until
Christmas, since technically it's a Christmas gift. This past weekend, she
had a party at her house with several of her artist friends (she lives in a
thriving artistic community in the mountains). She said that they all
raved about the painting--one compared it to Gaugin, another to Monet! I
think you've got a hit on your hands!"

"Untitled #4"
For our 7/7/07 wedding, some friends of ours got together and purchased a custom Koopa painting for us. They said they had to "pull some strings" to get the long title of "Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, b, a, select, start". Our painting began with:
and ended with a beautiful abstract work of art. What a neat and creative idea for making such fascinating art! Koopa's claw marks leave the most interesting wavy patterns, which are my favorite part of the piece. Also, the colors are very rich and blend together to make the most wonderful texture. I could tell from the pictures that Koopa put a lot of love and hard work into this painting and I wanted to let him know how much we appreciate him and his creation.
Koopa is adorable, and I wish him (and his guardian :-P ) best wishes in your artistic endeavors. Thank you so much for a beautiful painting that will grace our home for years to come!
