"New Hope #229"
This is the 229th offering in this series of original breast paintings. The design was applied directly to my breasts, which were then pressed onto the paper. This process is repeated, using various (intentional) color combinations and techniques, until I'm content with the final result.
The artwork in this series is intended to be intimate, whimsical, elegant, honest, unique and fun. I take great pride in my work and I hope you'll view it in an artistic light, despite my unorthodox painting methods. This original painting consists of an array of colors that would go well in any contemporary setting. Some of these close-up views are angled to demonstrate texture, sparkle, shimmer, iridescence, and/or vibrancy.
"New Hope" is an 8-year series that experiences gradual style/media/technique transitions as the body of work matures. This might occur due to necessity, a revelation, a whim, and/or experimentation with new elements and concepts.
