Hi!  I'm Kira, the human member of the collaboration that is TurtleKiss.com.  I started this site to share Koopa's beautiful art with the world and help raise money and awareness for turtle rescue at the same time.

Like Koopa, I am an artist.  I've been  painting for about 19 years and  crafting jewelry for about 15 years.  I have a preference for abstracts with vivid colors and lots of texture, but I'm skilled in many different styles and mediums.  I'm working on posting more of my photography and artwork as soon as I get a chance, but there's a small sampling below and in the navigation bar to the left.

My dislikes include the New Jersey Turnpike, football, seafood, paper cuts, getting sunburned, screaming children, viscous condiments (just pickles and onions for me, thanks), politics, racism, Dick Vitale, the puff-of-air-in-your-eye glaucoma test, Rachael Ray's voice, and waiting in long lines.
